Our Merriest Christmas Around
Get your enthusiasm back,
these have been lonely times,
some of us have cried in solitude:
we have lost the strength of our hack...
looking for a substitute;
it should be our merriest
Christmas around: let's put
garlands and lights on our trees:
let's go around it and dance!
It should be the season of the kindest deeds
to help the needy and those shedding tears;
kindness brings a smile to the saddest heart,
why be hostile to the unlucky ones?
I've walked in their shoes,
never seen a bright light:
my only comfort was Christ!
It should be our merriest Christmas around;
no broken hearts with shattered dreams,
no beggers with teary eyes,
no children without mothers:
only joyful faces that spread
goodwill and the true meaning
of Christmas to all Humanity!
