Our Mermaid Ruth

Never in the land of water and whir,
Had there ever lived such a mermaid pure.
Her scales were the loveliest of all the colors.
She was the envy of many mothers.

When we got to know her and saw her love
We knew she was graced with blessings above.
She had earned her colors, and she lived her truth.
She exuded peace and unity, our fair mermaid, Ruth.

I can see the image of Ruth with her iridescent scales. Maybe she could work at Weekie Watchee! I'll bet they would hire her on the spot!
