Our Memories

We gather here to say farewell,
    As sadly you depart.
    Our teardrops ever broodingly
    From their prison start.
    Remembering we toil anew,
    Our memories to pursue.
    Ever dear, ever dear,
    Within one's heart.

    Farewell with love, our thoughts of you,
    In many, different ways.
    Nostalgic moments from the past,
    Of happy carefree halcyon days.
    Or triumphs how we did rejoice,
    Now spoken with a tremulous voice.
    Ever dear, ever dear,
    Within one's heart.
