Our Love Is Not a Lie

I know that he's thinking of me.
He doesn't want to be in those streets.
He knows that our love makes him thrive.
He knows that our love is not a lie.

I know that he's confused right now.
He wants to change and knows how.
He thinks that if he does he'll lose his street fame.
God wants him to have a new name.

I know that he's wanting to pray.
He knows that with me he should have stayed.
He knows that he's stuck,
What he doesn't know is Satan is about
To pluck more hell into his life,
Because he knows,
That gave God gave him a wife,
Who has been through the same things
That he went through,
And God wants him to live the life that's true.

I know that he's thinking of me.
He doesn't want to be in those streets.
He knows that our love makes him thrive.
He knows that our love is not a lie.
