Our Life Together

I still recall the intense ecstasy
Of your burning touch in my fantasy
‘neath the silver moon at our rendezvous
With great finesse you whispered, “Voulez-vous?”
With a precarious thought at your dare
I did acquiesce with nary a care
Gallivanting was your old way of life
You dismissed it all and made me your wife
You’re nonchalant about how our lives went
No regrets-thinking our love heaven sent
Our lives since back then have not been unique
They’re mostly filled with joy but sometimes bleak
Through thick and thin and many ins and outs
Our love’s shone through with little or no doubts
I thank you now dear for your devotion
Let’s keep on loving in fluid motion
