This is actually a poem written in a form created years ago by someone in an old poetry goup of mine. He called it Chase-link form and I cannot recall his name; also, I can find no examples of it online except for mine. I have never posted it anywhere before today. I will just call it Rhyme.
At the edge of day and night,
a silent joy reigns between
thoughts in unison.
Ocean’s field shimmers blue-green
beneath a sky, tangerine.
Our sailboat’s hue is mirrored
on the sea, incarnadine
cast by light of sun.
Skin against tanned skin, we lean -
our eyes on our horizon
