Our Hiding Place and other Selections part of my poetry's time capsule
Our Hiding Place
There's a very special hiding place
Where we can stay
Our host, Jesus Christ,
Will show us the way
Peace and assurance awaits us there.
We can leave behind our worries,
And our cares
In our special place
We're never alone because our host
Has made our heart's His Home
The Best Moments of Our Lives
The seasons of our lives
All too quickly pass away.
All of our memories we cherish most today,
All too soon become our yesterdays.
Time won't wait for us, it seems
Is that why we treasure all of
Our plans, and our dreams
And, is that really why we want
Our friends and our loved ones to understand
We may not always know the right words
To say, it's true.
It's sometimes difficult to tell them
"I Love You!"
Yes, the very special moments of our lives
We hold dear,
Are always when our friends
And loved ones are near.

Heavenly Angels of Poetry
Heavenly angels of Poetry are softly whispering divinely inspirational words to me
They are bequeathing their Christian poetic gifts freely.
Heavenly angles of poetry are gently speaking words in my inner ear.
Very special poetic words of love I am able to hear.
Heavenly angels of poetry are proclaiming these words quite clearly
"Jesus Christ is God's only begotten Son."
And with the rising of each new sunrise, a beautiful new day has only just begun.
Love in Christ Jesus!

Farewell Marilyn,
Marilyn, you gave us your special gifts of a beautiful smile and sunny
disposition.
You were always willing to listen to our poems and stories.
And we are very sorry you have gone away from us.
We love and miss you very much.
Marilyn, you were the love of Bo's life--
his beloved soul mate and his wife.
Marilyn, you were one of God's special children.
We were so privileged to know.
When our time has come to die,
you will be waiting to meet us at Heaven's lofty skies.

To Patsy, former secretary of Pastor
John Greeny, deceased, Trinity Lutheran
Church, Everett Washington.
It was Pastor Greeny, who preceded over
the funeral service of my deceased brother Brian
Dean Dubarry. He died on either December
22nd or 23rd December 1982 at age of
only 27 years old of a suicide of an
overdose of his pysch meds.
The poem was put in an offering envelope
and given to our former pastor but our
former church no longer has any copies
of my earlier poems.
To Patsy,
*Notes The title "Our Day" is taken from the
song, "Our Day will Come."
The title "This Too Shall Past"
Comes From OFF A car's bumper
Sticker.
5/26/85
The notes and music of
Both songs I leave to you
over a poem
"Bitter Harvest"
Slights of long ago, reap
Only bitter harvest as they
Grow.
Resentments cherished deep
Within are called by their
Rightful name, Sin.
To God's Glory

Originally given to my (former) OA sponser
Carolyn and in my offering envelop to
Pastor Greeny, God's faithful minister.
When we were living on Broadway Ave,
in North Everett, two times I tried attending
Over Easters Anonymous because my
former original DVR counselor recommended
them to me, but both times I never did successfully
manage to ever complete their program due to
personal family problems and active mental
illness.
