Our Freedom

Our Freedom

We were made for each other

I still dream of you when I close my eyes....

Our hearts still beating together....

Looking at wedding pictures of you and I....

I still think you’ll walk through our door....

Even though I know you cant do that....

You were protecting our country on sand that was your floor....

None of you in that truck lived after the attack....

I will always keep your memory with me....

Honey I am still very proud of all our soldiers....

Freedom for us is what they still fight for you see....

Seven years they still fight and die for this war....

I still think its time for them to come home....

So many families everyday breaking....

For the ones who wont make it back home....

The news says terrorist are weaking....

I sure hope that is true....

So many soldiers have fallen....

On our second tour its been you....

I know everyone of you went to heaven....
