Our Fragile Democracy
Those freedoms well known to you and me,
in our form of government, democracy,
did not come with a forever guarantee..
Our forefathers fought for these liberties,
put their lives on the line and got down
on their knees..
It's our time now to protect these rights,
from want a be autocrats within our sight..
If we don't stand up for our democracy,
then we dare not complain when it ceases to be..
