Our Forgotten Forever

You use to be my summer sky, my morning smile
My winter song, the place I use to belong
I was happy for what felt like the first time in forever, now that is gone as you decided you wanted me Never

The day you left, the tears rolled down my cheeks and burned my skin,
cutting into our happy memories.
My broken heart shattering the loving parts of my soul from within
That glorious smile now one of my enemies

And even though your memory hurts me like I cannot even describe,
I'll keep the good parts of you with me , forever, close as I drift off into midnight
