Our Ever Living Journey

All of life is our journey
moving forward backward side to side
all directions is a movement
whether we consent or not to abide

Every moment is a journey
heading in some destination
whether it be short or long
it'll always be an occasion

All over the world someone's on a travel
no matter the weather sun or snow
everyone is moving somewhere
whatever the speed fast or slow

It's really an amazing fact
travelling takes many a form
by sea air road and rail
in winds torrents tornados even a storm

Only death can stop this journey
but even then it cannot stop
for whether up or down we go
our journey's producing a crop

At the great judgement seat
all our travels will we admit
when Jesus will decide our lot
whether for heaven we're fit

Hi, Gordon, my friend in Christ! I am reading and enjoying your poems, like this one. But I hope you know, Jesus died for our sins and believers who have accepted Him as their personal savior don't have to worry about being "fit" enough for heaven. Our good works will not get us in, nor anything we do. Just loving Jesus is enough. Our sins are covered by His blood. We obey His laws and honor Him by our actions because we love Him. So you are "Fit" for Heaven. Have no doubt. :)

Thanks Darlene, yes I know Jesus died for my sins and being saved we don'y have to woory about getting into heaven, I really need to keep this question on my next email but just to say Paul said ' work out your salvation with fear and trembling' and there will be a judgement on our service for Christ, so I'll stop there and we'll return to it later, God bless, Gordon
