We are above all else friends and more
She has a mind of her own which I deeply admire
A fiery passion
Rare and enticing
Spicy and rich
In spirit and soul
Her essence simply put
Is a multifaceted light
Nothing strange at all
Just a kindred spirit
This beacon she is
Shining in a dark lonely world
Beautiful Inside as well as out
So as you have given me
I say to you, be happy
Continue to grow in spirit
And see yourself
As the gift to the world
That you truly are
