We watched, so close, our daughter grow, to see what she might see, beauty bursting all around wherever she may be. We watched her see a rainbow grace the face of evening skies. We watched her hold a kitten close and chase the butterflies. We watched her at the ocean gather sand and shell and foam. We watched her run from out the woods with outstretched arms for home. We watched her gather leaves in fall and play in winter snow. We watched her, more with heart than eyes, more times than she may know. So proud her mum and I both stood and watched her grow to womanhood. Of all the beauty we may see between the earth and skies; there is no sight more beautiful than in our daughter’s eyes.

This is so touching, Vernon. You have written a definitive poem for all of us with daughters who have grown up. Thank you! Bravo, Gershon

Thank you Gershon, so warm from someone so prolific and constant. I only wish I had your knack for the current or if I could activate your "wit" in my witmer.
