Listen to poem:
Stone, parchment, and the printed page,
The Ten Commandments we engage,
"Remember this," our preacher said,
Praise thy name for our daily bread.
Before his birth in a manger
His complete life, he faced danger,
Without him, then we will all dread,
Praise thy name for our daily bread.
He worked miracles, people saw,
Leaving many of them in awe,
People walked and saw, and they spread,
Praise thy name for our daily bread.
He took the cross, said, "do not weep,"
His Word in our hearts, where we keep,
On Calvary where your son bled,
Praise thy name for our daily bread.
