Our Country’s Past Mistakes

We shine a light,
on country’s past mistakes.
Too many people,
have become snowflakes.
With squinched eyes we gaze,
through a self induced haze.
Seeking another man’s favor
and suffering malaise.
Many look past our beneficial changes,
while constantly keeping the past in the present.
The past never changes and only God discerns the future.
