Our Claim to Fame

Line of inquiry:
“death approaches but we have no regret ~
when God questions us, we will stand erect” Unseeking Seeker

Though death approaches, should we be afraid
and to the grave will all mankind be bound?
It matters not that bodies are decayed.
This earth for us is but a testing ground.

Possessions, trophies, and our mortal glories
mean naught to God when one day we stand
before Him! What matters are the stories
written in the Book of Life held in our Lord’s hand.

Love and kindness are our claim to fame
when at last we meet the God of Light.
With no regrets and reverencing His name,
with utmost gladness we shall stand upright.

Dear Andrea, I kept nodding along, reflecting on the moments that shape us, and smiling at how beautifully you frame love and kindness as our true legacy. It’s uplifting, grounded, and leaves a lasting impression. Blessings, Dear Andrea, Daniel
