Our Chosen Few

“The needs of the many 
outweigh the needs of the few”
The few will sacrifice their way of life 
just to fight for each of you

Too many, take for granted 
these sacrifices that are made
They’re causing chaos in our streets
and forgetting the price that was paid

The few will give up time with their families
To go and serve on foreign shores
Some are killed or wounded,
never seen again or can’t walk anymore

These few are our children, brothers and sisters,
aunts, uncles, cousins and even our friends
Let’s be thankful of their sacrifice and service,
our way of life, and hope to God it never ends
