Our Armed Forces

Our Armed Forces

Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines
May things to me each one means
Ending a war which we all abhor
Floating on some ship near a shore.

For their country many have died
Sailing home on an ocean so wide
Flying through air providing support
Landing on runway seeming short.

Men and women with their families
Started to say in prayers, God please
Forgive those dead and take their souls;
Still see their faces in burning coals.

Viola Davis was incredible calling
Sidney Poitier, "Captain, My
Captain." Hidden Figures is
also truly amazing.
