loved the film and book, I still find the story quite chilling. I worked in a restaurant and one of the customers who I became friends with (now for over 20 years) used to refer to one of my colleagues as Mrs Danvers as she was quite cold lol:-) hugs Jan xx

I watched the haunting remake. Though not scary in a conventional sense, still leaves you feeling haunted! I think I saw the original too!

This is a gem, Mark. And not just because I love Hitchcock. It just sounds perfect.

I know that most haiku are not titled. I title mine to keep track of them. But my Oscar haiku titles were way too long even for my liking. So, instead of naming them, I've designated them as "Oscar-ku," a combination of Oscar and haiku. Kudos to fellow poet Kim Rodrigues for coming up with the name. Cheers, Kim!
