Orion
ORION
Hunter -
Great bright giant
Strides across with dogs at night
‘Tween Bull and Hare - he lifts his club.
But never catches them.
Hunted -
Solitary ,
I watch his wheeling progress,
Circling there in frozen still-life,
Feeling myself alone.
