Orchard Fantasy

Opulent surroundings this fine orchard dwells
Royal blood runs through each and every branch
Grand displays of brightly coloured fruit
A vast covering as far as the eye can see
Nectar sweetens the air and fills the honey bees
Idyllic when at one with nature all around
Cultivating the paths to my inner sanctum

Fine fruits tantalise my watering mouth
Rich in vibrancy ready to be picked
Ultimate pleasure soaks my desire
Indulgently I accept the sumptuous offerings
Tantalising my tongue as I sink my teeth to bite
Succulent pieces fill my stomach and my soul

You paint a most attractive and tempting orchard, Laura. Living in the countryside I am lucky to witness and taste these tantalizing fruits on a daily basis. #7 Warm regards // paul
