Notes About The Poem
Out on the porch, probably about a year ago..The sun coming up reminded me of dreadlocks in color the way the great artist had painted the lines in the sky..Sara

Orange-Red Dreadlocks

She wore orange-red dreadlocks
Danced on the horizon far away
Setting the woods on fire
Stirring up all kinds of desire

Roosters arose with voices of power
Sleeply pines in silhouette still stood
Dormant in cold and frozen twigs
She stirred the air to warm and play

Happiness she brought
Sent the cold swiftly away

Sounds like someone from the 60's. They were all strange to me at that time.
