Orange Berry Skies

lulu tiptoes through orange berry skies
fluttering fluttering ever so high
hopping on pink cotton candy clouds
diamond stars and moon pie cows
rainbow tiara and butterfly wings
stealing notes angels sing
lulu bounces to touch the helm
spill the waters of dreamboat realm
laughing silly smiling sly
lulu dances in orange berry skies
thunder lighting slash and gash
boom and black silver flash
lulu shakes and falling down
frozen smile of a dead clown
soaked and bruised without wings
spark of light it so stings
lulu crawls into the shade
sleeps away the pain of day
dreams of fairies flying to the moon
where lunar bees pollinate sugar blooms
taste of sweet upon her lips
scent of dusk begins to nip
spiraling stardust heals her wings
bright and sassy lulu bings
up up with golden wings of dew
up up wings become new
dance and fly twirl and slide
open up orange berry skies
gypsy spirit flying nigh
into the blossom of orange berry skies
