Or Not

healthy or not
let's make our tracks don't walk the path of desire
pretty or not
primarily it is your soul I admire

alert or not
hear dark thoughts whisper so do always pay heed
got lost or not
through mess and maze I am the one who will lead

fearful or not
I pave the way for you don't mind if it´s steep
drowsy or not
I watch beside your bed as long as you sleep

I will stand guard
that's fast and hard
I´ll be around
ease will be found
and time will tell
all shall be well

noble or not
I never count the things I take or I give
wealthy or not
they say on bread alone good men do not live

furious or not
let anger drop and breathe a sigh of relief
dumpish or not
do not allow the ill succeed as time thief

righteous or not
light-footedness we will get when we forgive
faithful or not
regain your joy and learn to love and to live

let go the fear
shelter is near
I´m on your side
you are my pride
and time will tell
all shall be well

see me or not
I strengthen you from a position behind
footloose or not
when you are cured my own way out I will find

to win you stand
I hold your hand
begin to see
how to be free
and time will tell
all shall be well

I´m not a native speaker, probably there are mistakes in grammar and vocabulary. So I cordially invite other members to send me suggestions for improvement as long as rhyme and rhythm are kept. Thank you very much!

Anton, I think your poem is beautiful. Frankly, I wouldn't change a single word. It flowed well and the theme was consistent. Good writing!

Thank you very much, Milton! I wrote this one (and "whether resistant") for a young woman who bravely fights against BPS.
