Optimistic Approach

Life is full of incidents, That no-one can predict, Some are nice and pleasant, While with others you feel kicked. But no matter what befalls you, You have to make the most, Cos if you don’t it’s you that suffers, You that ends up toast. Celebrate the good stuff, With the bad stuff, do your best, And look for the advantages, Don’t worry bout the rest. I know I can’t be silly, And of course I know i’m ill, But what’s the point of panic? To help me, medics will. Fate has its way to operate, Bad colours sometimes show, But should you curse the bad stuff? Of course the answer’s no. Look toward the bright side, See the things of benefit, And if you’re thinking positive, You’ll better deal with it. My kids are so amazing, And a special girl I love, I’ve got such great support right now, The bad stuff gets a shove. I’m making peace with sisters, After such a long long time, A brand new car is on the way, And pension pots in line! Im still able to work right now, For an amazing boss, With lots of lovely colleagues, I don’t think about the dross! Im planning gigs and holidays, Cos while I can I will, The pluses in my lifestyle, Can cash in at cashless till. I’ve always said that small things, Matter more than larger stuff, The love, support, encouragement, For me is so enough!!
