Opposite Love From a Friend
I always see the desperation
And all lose of concentration
Whenever she is around
You can't speak or make a sound
She takes away your heart and breath
You get numb and scared to death
Wishing you were strong to tell
This devil she if full of hell
Making your life a hot mess
Leaving you in such distress
There is no way you could see
Past all the pain and misery
That I want to rescue you
From the hold she's got on you
Pulling you into a world
Everyday this loving girl
Will erase the bad love scenes
Replacing them with more serene
Memories you can enjoy
I will not be shy or coy
Making you sure and aware
There's no need to fret or fear
My love will never be cruel
Leaving you a battered fool
Like she made you long ago
Taking away your inner glow
That I want to resurrect
Assuring this love is perfect
For your heart to beat once more
As each minute I restore
Your faith that happiness exists
Giving your world what's been missed
