Open Window

A lost opportunity
Stared at from the open window
Time now moves slow
But it's time to let go

You reap what you so
And I could never say
That I felt this way
And it hurts me today

I dwell on past thoughts
Can not put them down
It is a constant ring
A constant sound
That goes on in my ear

Drowns out passive thoughts
And I worry about this fear
That you could never be near
And you don't want me here

You reap what you so
And I could never say
That I felt this way
And it hurts me today

I heard you like him
I just wish I was he
I would be happy and free

I got drunk off of feeling
Off of emotion
But I never told you
How I truly felt
And for you
My heart shall melt

You reap what you so
And I could never say
That I felt this way
And it hurts me today

You reap what you so
And I could never say
That I felt this way
And it hurts me today
