Open Up Oh Withered Heart

Open up oh, withered heart
Oh, soul to flow true
For my love is unbeknown
and I'm lying awake
wondering what to do
The best things in life are yet to come
Oh Lord, I know they will appear
The days have passed; the days of young
now with wisdom I recognize a heart so dear
Hail, to the new found awareness
Behold, the truth that reigns
Let forevermore live on a caring humanity
Oh woe, shut the eyes that stain
Open up oh, withered heart
Oh, soul to flow true
Only to my demise
My love, my love for you....
