Open Up

everyone has scars that never seem to heal, it’s a never ending pain that we never really feel.

we bottle it all up and push it real far down, we force ourselves to smile when all we want to do is frown.

and if anyone should ask, you’re always feeling fine, just hope that no one sees the truth that no one sees a sign.

why can’t we all be open without a fear of being judged? I know that I’m an open book, all I need is to be nudged.

for my children’s sake I’m hoping that people can evolve, because until we free ourselves from judgement nothing can be solved.

if you ever need to talk just know I’m always here, to lend a place to rest your head and take away your fear.
