Open Up

You say that i need to open up and let you in. But if I do that will you still be standing here with me? Or will you abandon me like everyone else? What if you don't like who I am? What if I don't like who I am? It scares me to think that I won't have you anymore. That you won't be there when I need you, or when I just want you around. It's nice having you around. You make me happy. If you're not here, will I ever be happy again? You tell me I need to open up and let you in. And that if i dont you'll walk away. But if you walk away I won't have you. I won't have anyone. So I take the chance. And I open up and let you in. And you're still here. You're still here with me. And you have no idea how much that means to me.
