Open the Door
Open the Door
Kevin Davis – 2025
Open the door where death and life align—
What spirits linger? What truths are divine?
Open your mind where justice wears disguise—
What dreams endure? What hidden deceit lies?
Open your heart to the clash—chains and wings—
What freedom cries? What quiet tyranny stings?
Open your soul where hatred turns to dust—
What love remains? What beliefs earn your trust?
So open yourself to this sacred decree:
Guard well the flame of our democracy.
Stand for the truth—let your voice be the toll,
And demand that our Constitution remain whole.
