Open Books

When I was young
I sought out wisdom
Now that I have wisdom
I see the hopes of the future

Open books with pages pure white
With arms and eyes
Seeking out
And I dare to write words

Words that will never be erased
Impacting myself upon that open book
Ideas that may haunt me
All the days of my life
