Open Arms

The ocean is beautiful
At daybreak

Calm and peaceful
A soothing turquoise

Just inviting me to
Leap in and enjoy myself

I don't do anything at first
But then I feel it coaxing me

With gentle pushes from behind
Waves softly hitting the boat

I strip off my clothing
And step up to the edge

Peering in to the inviting waters
I close my eyes, and feel the wind

I suck in a deep breath
And plunge into the tranquil waters

The water slides around me
Like shampoo oozing from it's bottle

My naked body feels cleansed
And I finally feel free

Nothing can stop me from
Living in this world

As long as look at it
Like a peaceful ocean

Always waiting for me
With open arms...
