Opal

There is a sorrow in my heart
An emptiness that I cannot part
I was flooded with love
My soul light as a dove
She appeared before me
Aphrodite rose out of the sea
But flight was not her agenda
I built her up strong
For she could do no wrong
Held her in my arms
Protecting her from harm
Making love on the sheets
Bodies caressing in the heat
Unfortunately it was just a game
for what reason I cannot name
Alone i am now typing gently with a heart broken
Tears shedding over words unspoken.
Goodbye my Opal Pixie
