Opague

A wall of solid color
I think today I'm green.
Wanting to translate
My words and what they mean.

Angels descending, bring from above,
Echoes of mercy, whispers of love

Fallen angels surround my soul
I sympathize then take control

Oppression that weighs my body down
Always smiling on the surface, yet inner frown.

The dragonfly totem pole I stood beside
When I was 6 in Alasksa with pride.

Meant to me at 38
Way back then I had a unique fate.

Peculiar or odd some would say
I took the words ingested them today.

I was created with a special technique
To forsee futures in my sleep.

Blossomed to a soldier
by being so strong.
My structure body frame
was created with a song.

To wait for the day
that i would be ready
To star in my own movie and
Hold on tight if I was unsteady.

Dreaming of the day
I would maybe have second chance
to be a little braver
Speak my thoughts then make a stance.

Patterns of my past
quickly descend
Making this very moment
Stand still and never end.
