Only You My Lord I Long To Please

Teach me YOUR Word, my LORD
For YOUR Word is to me a Great Sword.
Bestow upon me, my LORD, a spirit to understand
So i can make good judgment based on YOUR Word.
Open my eyes, my LORD, so I can see clearly
And discern the good from evil YOU despise so dearly.
Open my ears, my LORD, to hear YOUR Word of Truth.
And in me plant faith in YOU to bear YOU fruit.
Mold my heart, my LORD, to love, love
And become a sweet fragrance to YOU from high above.
Cleanse my conscience, my LORD, and root it in YOUR decrees
And my sinful thoughts I may not reprise.
For only you my LORD I long to please.
