Only Yesterday

Logging in to view the past. Fashions and feelings that just couldn't last. I just smile, what can I say. Things have changed from only yesterday. Reflections are skewed depending on who viewed. Some support you, some, you're just screwed. What can I say, I just smile. Just another day, a little longer than a while. Days and decades, they run together. What matters depends on the whether. You can't blame the past for what's today. Good or bad, it was only yesterday. When you've survived what you've derived. It's not always because what you've contrived. Somethings stray and somethings stay. Tomorrow's come and gone, it was only yesterday.

What jumped out to me was the line..."What matters depends on the whether." ... Whether we do or don't, agree or disagree, stand still or move, take hold or release....etc... the list is endless. You have truly made this mind think outside the box here.... may be a poem for me in this... lol Thanks. Excellent thoughts and some fine writing to boot !!

Hi, Robert. My mind immediately went to the Beatles song! I love it so much. And I love the feelings you are expressing here. We cannot recapture our yesterdays, not the way we would really like to, so we just have to let them go!!
