Only One Wish

If you had
A wish to make
To see someone
God did take
To sit and chat
For an hour or two
Who would it be
You would choose

My brother, David
Would be the one for me
He's missed out
On so many things, you see
It would even make me
Happy as can be
We'd have so much
Catching up to do
Would be worth
An hour or two
It wouldn't be
Much time to spend
Some things we
Could even mend
If only that wish
Would come true
Easier life would be
For me to get through
