Only In My Dreams

Only in my dreams, could someone like you come along. Only in my dreams, could someone take away the wrong. It couldn’t be reality, I cannot be awake. I’m so afraid to open my eyes. Afraid my heart will break. Break in two when I realize that you’re not really here, And how it will feel to want so badly to be able to hold you near. The thought of waking up to your warm and gentle touch makes me know that deep inside, I need you here so much. I want to wake daily and be able to look into loving eyes. I want this again for the rest of my life,.. until the day I die. So, until the time that I am sure that I am not asleep, I’ll lay here in my dream state, and you, I’ll be able to keep.
