Only God Knows My Heart!!
You’re not God. Don’t pretend to be.
Only God knows what’s inside of me.
To God alone, I come and humbly confess.
I trust him to clean up all of my mess!
Each day I ask to be cleansed throughout.
He is God, and this is what his
love is about!
I don’t need you to point out
my shortcoming.
In Christ alone, a new person,
I’m becoming!
If you don’t like it, take it to “my boss.”
I lay my whole life at the foot
of the cross.
I have faults, and a long way to go!
Christ has come and redeemed
my soul!
I have but one purpose
and one goal.
To love, each day, the redeemer
of my soul!
He’s forgiven me and loves me
just the same.
Through Christ power, my life
is being changed!
God knows my heart!
No, I’m not kidding!
Each day now, I’m enjoying his
way of living!
