Only God Can Judge Me
Only god can judge me,
In this man made pond of sins.
For I am that,
Adolescent,
And son that sprouted out of his hands.
I am that darkened rose,
Clutch in his hands.
So the eyes of humanity do,
Not burn a hole through my petals.
In their hopes to cultivate my soon,
To be darkened nectar.
But there sightless,
For they already have soiled my nectar.
For humanities temptations,
Even reaches beneath the soils of my mother.
A mother’s love that soon,
Be lost in this darkened world.
For
It seems every time I inhale someone is born,
And when I exhale someone cease to exist.
In this world that they try to control,
I’m out casted for my ideals.
But only god can judge,
And only god will as I walk up towards his lit staircases.
And leave behind the darkened world humanity has created for itself.
