Aww this poem reminds me of the wonderful relationship I have with my granddaughter and only child, who now has a best friend whose parents got together and they are sisters now. They are both in first grade. : )

I am so GLAD for that whole family, because not only did they get sisters, they got you Connie! The top prize of all!

Only children are fascinating characters. Most are mature and can be much like an eldest child but probably some are spoiled. In any event, I bet they feel lonely! I enjoyed this other nonet, Caren.

Thank you Andrea. Robin Williams was an only child, and created an entire menagerie of friends inside himself.
