Only Child
Only child never knew affection
Always ignored, day after day
Only child surplus to requirements
Constantly feeling the need to run away
You have nowhere to run
You have no rights
Miserable days and sleepless nights
Very soon you'll come of age
Your life will improve
You'll be freed from your cage
You'll meet your soulmate
And your life will improve
No parents to criticise your every move
Your future is mapped out
Try your best and aim high
When you find true love
Your heart it will fly
