Only An Angel

Who can take a man to Heaven
Right here on this earth
Then make love with all her heart
And make him wish she was his first

I don't call her by her first name
I just say:
Only an angel

Only an angel
Can lift my spirit up so high
That sweet surrender
Where our souls can reunite

I don't think that she's fallen
But to me she's everything
Yes only an angel
Can set me free

Any man, can say I love you
And have it not mean anything 
But I confess 
She has her halo and her wings

And on nights when we make love
She brings the devil out in me
Yes only an angel
Can set me free

Only an angel
Can lift my spirit up so high
That sweet surrender
Where our souls can reunite

I don't think that she's fallen

Can set me free

Only an angel 
Can free me from the sin
Of wanting her
So just where do we begin

She knows that I love her
And if its my last dying plea
Yes only my angel
