One Warm Day
. for public domain
This Winter, like so many others,
snowfall comes and goes,
and the last day we can welcome Spring
no one can say, or knows.
The ice will slip and slide our steps,
the wind will bite our cheeks.
Some cars won't start. Some toes will freeze.
Misery goes on for weeks.
Yet Mother Nature, She assures,
warm breezes on the way,
will bring the rain and blossoms budding,
and Hope will win one day.
