One Voice, Their Voice
Eyes of an animal can speak to your soul
They show us what we’re missing
Ask us for love and protection,
To be themselves and always be whole.
Some humans think hurting them are fun
Would they like the same done to them?
They wouldn’t that I do know,
So we must be a voice for the helpless
Be sure they don’t cower and run.
Show others the kindness to give
Whether to animal, or our own
We need to be a voice, their voice
To show them they again can live.
Let’s be the voice they count on
Let them have a better life
Know all humans aren’t all that bad,
They are the spirits of the world;
Have them feel, the hurting is all gone.
