One Special Lady

Oh, Lord, might we see another eighty
For one special lady
Her heart filled with life's best parts
Responsible for so many fresh starts
You blessed her with the smarts
To bring you into so many hearts

From the time she was a little girl
She lived in her own world
With God in her heart
She gave her parents a new start
Becoming a young mom, she stood strong
Bringing along an understanding of Gods song

Not a chance or even a slight glance
We would not be schooled in his ways
She has helped many endure the fight
My mom who makes my world so bright
At eighty your such a beautiful lady
You have touched so many

It's not possible to display
What so many feels for you on your 80th birthday
Know we all love you for so many fond memories
Every time I feel a warm breeze
Or I am praying on my knees
I feel a mothers love
She learned from God up above
