One Soul

soft lingering music, one candle burning bright
a happy cheerful fellow, a taunted soul at night
wasteful words are spoken, a waste of human breath
set sail for the bottom of the bottle, i drank myself to death
to be rid of all this anger to be rid of all this pain
t exclude myself from all the world never to be seen again
alas there be just one thing before i slip away
before you rest you head for the night i beg of you to prey
do not prey for my taunted soul it would be a waste of your time
this soul that lie deep inside of me was never really mine
please prey for a pure life one without all the lies
i am a fading shadow i bid you a thousand goodbye
so now we draw to a closure all now has been said
the next time that you see me
im afraid i will be dead
