One Song

Can you sing me a song
That carries me along
Far beyond yesterday
And all that's cast away

Maybe one day it's found
All that's been tumbled down
From ashes it will rise
And to all a surprise

A new day, a new sun
A new life soon to come
Times are short, some are sweet
Get to know all we meet

Some will go, some will stay
Each may add to our day
In the end we'll move on
And you will sing your song
