One Second To Go

Stretching far around the seas
Slow and steady, grace and ease.
The ray he glides as like a bird,
Under the foam no sound is heard,
The waves above may rage and wither,
But the ray lives on without a shiver.
Still as we dump into the brine
These waters which were once divine,
Sewage, plastic, waste and more
We've reached the point we can't ignore.
Our oceans they are suffocating
From pollution of our creating.
So let us pledge to change our ways,
To save the turtles and the rays.
